Hi, I am the developer of jAMOS. This project is still in its infancy, but already has Bobs and Sprites controllable by mouse and cursor keys, screen scrolling - and AMAL! I previously worked on a project called jAMAL which implemented most of AMAL in Java. This project builds on and supersedes that with an interpreter for AMOS itself.
And there is AbkViewer, an AMOS sprite (and icon) bank viewer I built in Java, and incorporated in jAMOS, with a view to eventually allowing AMOS sprite banks to be used directly.
Hopefully this will be a push to get Java on AmigaOS 4.x, MorphOS and AROS.
I have also created emulation packs for Windows, Linux/x86 and AROS/x86 which run the classic AMOSPro out of the box using UAE and the new Kickstart replacement based on the AROS project. The Windows version comes with an installer, essentially turning AMOSPro into a Windows app. I have an untested experimental version for AmigaOS 4.x and MorphOS too.
