What are people watching?

Thought I'd throw something up here, for nobody to read or reply to... :P

Anyhow, title says it, what excellent things are people hooked on right now?

Personally I've been recently viewing oyasumi subs version of Pani Poni Dash - http://oyasumi.leechanime.com/ (quite odd) which they are being entirely too slow with the subbing of, focusing their efforts on Black Cat (which is also quite good, but not as good)

I've also been enjoying Ichigo Mashimaro from R0r1p0p http://r0r1p0p.fansub-torrents.com/ (cute, funny)

Also worth checking out is No e in http://www.shinsen-subs.org/?page=projects&id=Noein which should suit your tastes better if you're looking for more serious Sci-fi fare, the sound and visuals are very good.

Personally, I'm pretty old school so I'm still catching up on Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I like it because it is an entire series instead of just a single movie so more of the depth of the original works can creep in.

I wish someone would do a TV or OAV series for Nausicaa...

Mostly the same here. The lastest series I got were "Key: The Metal Idol" and "Bubblegum Crisis: 2040". :P

GitS: SAC has been recommended to me elsewhere, I should probably get it since the R2 box set is abnormally cheap. I did enjoy the movie.

Well, not anime but kind of connected...

I just finished watching Densha Otoko (Train Man) tonight and mostly enjoyed it. The main story is solid, and the internet forum parts are pretty realistic. It was almost like watching rastport on tv :) The only problem for me was a) they cast Misaki Ito as the lead actress, and b) they made the protagonist too much of a sniveling weakling. That made it hard for me to believe that someone like her would even give this guy the time of day, let alone fall for him.

I also did a GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) review marathon last week; but live action, not animated. It reminded me how much I like Takashi Sorimachi and Nanako Matshushima. They've got great chemistry together. I'm thinking of starting on the animated version when I have time, but it will be weird hearing their voices with different faces.
