Sinners or Saints?

Atheist2. @shaw.ca.

If a sperm and egg are combined in a petri dish into an embryo, they are a "person" to a huge amount of religious people.

Fine.

Now, I take 3 millilitres of sulphuric acid, pour it in there, and the cell dies.

So, which one of the 10 commandments did that "person" violate, to be a sinner?

Jesus was NOT the only non-sinner that ever existed. It's a bible lie.

Millions and millions of "people" are JUST AS SINLESS as Jesus himself was.

That violates page 2 or 3 of the bible that says god says ALL humans are sinners!!!!! What god said is false.

Why try to figure out the illogic of religion?

Life is not "created" - it simply continues in a different form down through the ages.

Cells in a dish are not a person.

Just live your life and ignore the religious wackos.

The bible doesn't say that Jesus never sinned. He is certainly not sinless
if you read it through. He does lots of really stupid sinful stuff.

I really wish if people were going to criticise religion that they would
actually read the damn books first.

All humans ARE sinners according to the bible. The whole point of Jesus is that
he died on the cross to make what god said not false, but irrelevant; if you
believe in Jesus, your sins are forgiven.

It's basically a rewrite/scapegoat to make the religion more palettable - if
you had to chose a religion, would it be the one were you just have to say
you believe and you go to heaven, or the one where no matter how hard you
try you are destined for an eternity having pitchforks jammed in your ass
by perky little goblins?

Christianity at it's core is basically belief in That Particular God, oddly
enough the same one that Jews and Muslims believe in. How you worship him is
part of the religion - Christianity worships God but thanks Jesus for his
help in not having them be resigned to being a goblin's favourite recepticle.

When stepping into a useless argument with the unenlightened, always remember to meditate upon 1 Corinthians 2:14 FIRST. Doing so will most likely wind up saving you an awful lot of wasted keystrokes.

Give me a lie for a lie
Give me a truth for a truth
Nothing is hard to believe
No one is hard to deceive
Leave me a light in the dark

I have a torch that shines through all the lies of the Bible.

Well, these references are pretty clear:

John 14:30 " ... the prince of this world [Satan] cometh, and hath nothing in me ... "

2 Cor 5:21 "Who knew no sin ... "

Heb 4:15 " ... was tempted in all points like as we are, yet without sin."

1 Pet 2:22 "Who did no sin, neither was there guile found in His mouth."

1 John 3:5 " ... and in Him was no sin."

Then there's James 2:19.

That might be closer to a type of Hallmark moment where Halloween is confused with
St. Valentine's Day.

You might have gotten a little too happy with the inclusiveness.
