I won't link to it, but as John has mentioned in passing, the deleted roommate does have his own blog. I found it with a few minute's use of teh Google. Hint: it's not self-hosted, despite said person's ownership of a domain.

Curious as well as to how things are going with the new digs/job.

Biggest issues are money and fear on either side it looks like. Hopefully both of them can get on with their lives...

Doesn't seem to be anything that someone couldn't get past eventually, after the initial shock of change. Can't say I would have done anything different than John did, 'cause I wasn't there experiencing what was happening in that place, except maybe I would have slid the keys under the door with a note when I left for the last time. I would have notified all the services to get them removed from my name, so it wouldn't hurt my credit rating.

If I was in a spiteful mood, I would have mailed the mail key to him from a box near the building.
